HR speak
We just had a factsheet from Human Resources here at work about Ramadan, a particular highlight of which was, "During the month of Ramadan it is not appropriate to ask a Muslim staff member to ensure that a client is 'wined and dined'."
Where do HR people go to learn how to communicate like this? The Donald Rumsfeld School of English?

Hooray. Not an enormous amount of perks with my job but I do get to wine and dine lots at the company's expense. Yay!
