Jan 24 - the day my Switch card will die

There are so many records coming out on Jan 24 that I just have to buy. New albums by Low, Mercury Rev, EST, and two by Bright Eyes!

Nah, junk them and go for the LCD Soundsystem album on the same day and the Roots Manuva LP the week after!

That's all I need, more suggested purchases! Not to mention The Kills album in February!

Very much looking forward to the new Low album. Been listening to the box set lots lately. AND they're playing at the RFH. Ah, it's great when there are lots of essential purchases to be made. The opposite would be too terrifying.

I would love to go and see Low at that gig, but alas I am away at the time. Only just got into them really. Trust and Things we lost in the fire are ace, haven't heard the box set.

Ive not managed to get into low at all. They sound good for a while but their records are all really dreary in the long run. Theyre suppposed to be good live though. What is the RFH? Is that in Brighton?

Low are spine-tinglingly wonderful live. I saw them at Concord 2 (supported by the Kings of Convenience - oooh) and at St George's Church in Kemp Town. I melted! Yes yes yes! Brilliant.

Couldn't agree more. Saw them at the Union Chapel once and they were amazing. Really vulnerable sounding. Anyone else like American Analog Set?
