A tale of two gigs
I went to two gigs this weekend - one was Rufus Wainwright at the Dome, the other was Chimp at the Marlborough Theatre.
Rufus Wainwright was really excellent - a great performer with excellent songs and a great band. Chimp were also excellent, in a very low key way. They've got a new guitarist since I last saw them, who was good. Wish they'd played 'Hope, don't chase it down' though.

I read a review of a Rufus Wainwright show which reported at the end he and his entire band did a carefully choreographed 'melting wicked witch of the east' routine. That sounds fabulous - did he do that in Brighton?
